Crynodeb
The purpose of this role is to support and further develop the Acute Medicine service, providing daily consultant-level review of patients with acute medical illness and senior decision-making to ensure timely and optimal care. The successful candidate will join the existing acute medical team and contribute to shaping the future of the department, delivering high-quality care to the population. Lead and provide day-to-day clinical care on the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC). Develop and improve patient pathways, with a focus on ambulatory care pathways. Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance across Acute Medicine. Supervise, tech, and support junior doctors, trainees, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
