Site Engineer - Water Infrastructure
Location: East Sussex
Rate: Up to £350 per day

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support delivery of a water infrastructure project in East Sussex. Working for a specialist subcontractor, you will play a key role in setting out, quality control, and day-to-day site engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, and to programme.
Key Responsibilities-
Setting out for water infrastructure works including pipelines, chambers, drainage, and associated civils

Providing engineering support to site management and subcontractor teams

Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards

Managing as-built records and assisting with RAMS and ITPs

Carrying out site surveys, checks, and measurements

Liaising with the main contractor, client representatives, and design teams

Monitoring quality and resolving technical issues on site

Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained at all times
-
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on water, utilities, or civil engineering projects

Strong setting-out experience using GPS/Total Station equipment

Good understanding of water infrastructure works (clean or wastewater preferred)

CSCS card (minimum requirement)

SMSTS or SSSTS desirable

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Full UK driving licence

Day rate up to £350 per day
