We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Foundation SEND Lecturer to join our exceptionally busy and professional Foundation & ALS team.
If you’re passionate about supporting learners to achieve their academic potential and removing barriers to learning, this role could be for you.
You’ll have:
• • A recognised teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS or CET).
• • Substantial experience teaching learners with SEND in FE, alternative or specialist provision.
• • Experience supporting learners with EHCPs and evidencing provision against outcomes.
• • Experience supporting learners with SEMH, anxiety, trauma or emotionally based school avoidance.
• • Strong skills in adaptive teaching, behaviour support and creating inclusive learning environments.

Your passion and enthusiasm will be underpinned by the experience, skills and understanding you bring, including:
• Planning and delivering inclusive, differentiated programmes of study.
• Using trauma-informed and relational approaches to support engagement and emotional safety.
• Supporting learner wellbeing, attendance, preparation for adulthood and progression.
• Working collaboratively with SEND teams, safeguarding staff and external professionals.
