Location: Solihull, West Midlands - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 45 hours per week Monday to Friday - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As part of our Commercial team, you'll play a vital role in providing commercial support for the successful delivery of our water projects across the Midlands. You'll work collaboratively with project teams to ensure costs are controlled effectively while maintaining quality standards.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes. Your day to day will include:
-Managing cost control, maximising value, and maintaining quality standards
-Preparing monthly applications, accruals, and forecasts with precision
-Procuring subcontractors while ensuring best value for Kier and our clients
-Compiling and submitting client reports and final accounts
-Collaborating across teams to build effective relationships with stakeholders
What are we looking for?
This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
-You have a degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
-You bring experience working with civil projects in the Utilities industry
-You're skilled at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
-You have experience working with the NEC suite of contracts
