Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Coordinator to join the Building Department at Chatsworth.Based at Park Rangers House in Edensor, the role will assist the Buildings Team in the repair and maintenance of a large portfolio of property. This varied and interesting role is ideally suited to someone with prior experience in a building facilities or a compliance related role.As Facilities Coordinator, you will:Plan, undertake and report on compliance related tasks at our in-house commercial buildings, to include fire alarm, emergency lighting and legionella testing.Maintain schedules of checks complete and review/file compliance certificates as they are received and instruct remedial work where necessary.Oversee the management of asbestos, ensuring inspections are carried out on time and records are kept up to date.Assist in the contractor approval process ensuring all new contractors are enrolled correctly and existing contractor’s records are up to date.Oversee the repair and maintenance of the estates private water supplies including the administration of bi-annual servicing, annual sampling and private water supply risk assessments.Assist in reporting tenant enquiries; allocating urgent and non-urgent jobs to contractors ensuring surveyors are kept informed and tenants updated.Form appropriate working relationships with contractors, tenants/occupiers, colleagues and visitors.Work as part of our on-call out of hours rota.This is a full-time permanent role working Mon - Fri 08.00am until 16.30pm with half hour for lunch.In return, we can offer you the opportunity to work in the beautiful surroundings of Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire, an employee assistance programme, uniform allowance, and an estate pass providing discounts in our retail and catering outlets, hotels and free entry to annual events such as the Chatsworth Country Show and much more.
