The Best Connection in Worthing are recruiting on behalf of our Goring By Sea based client, a manufacturer of of thermometers and probes. This is a small family orientated company who have a friendly and welcoming culture.
We are looking for an experienced assembly operative who has professional experience of assembling electrical components, soldering of electrical parts and ideally cable assembly.
This role although initially temporary could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.
Working hours are between 08:00 and 17:00 on a Monday to Friday basis.
Duties will include:
- Assembly: Assemble products following detailed verbal and written instructions and build procedures.
- Technical Skills: Use of basic tools, hand tools, and soldering techniques to construct, solder, and assemble components.
- Quality Control: Inspect components and finished products for quality and accuracy, identifying any defects or, rejects that do not adhere to standards.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy is essential.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing environment is essential
- Technical: Ability to read and follow technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Team Player: Ability to work well within a fast-paced production team.
