Housing Support Worker, Banbury, £14.25-£16.00 per hour

Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Housing Support Worker to join our team in Banbury, providing vital support to individuals in need. As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping people to maintain their independence, manage their daily lives, and achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities
• Provide emotional and practical support to service users, enabling them to live independently and participate in their local community
• Develop and implement personalized support plans, tailored to each individual's needs and goals
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, social services, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support
• Assist service users with daily tasks, such as budgeting, shopping, and household management
• Foster a safe and supportive environment, promoting dignity, respect, and empowerment

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience of working in a support or care environment, preferably in a housing support setting
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues
• Basic IT skills, with the ability to use electronic care records and other digital systems
• A patient, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality support
