We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our team at Yorkshire Supported Living, based in Huddersfield. Supported Living in Huddersfield (Ashfield & Gledcliffe) provides six tenancies. The service empowers individuals with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours to live more independently. The service offers personalised and tailored support in a private space, allowing the people we support to hold their own tenancy with a registered housing association. We know how important it is for individuals to have the right support so they can live the life they want to live. We support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. This specialist service supports individuals who may have been previously detained within a hospital setting and are ready for a step-down placement with in the local community. Your Day-to-Day... You'll be working 40 hours a week in Yorkshire supported living with adults who have a learning disability, Autism and other complex needs. Ensure the team provides safe, sound & supportive care to the people they support Be a role model to your team & provide effective leadership & management Work with multi-disciplinary teams, family members, local authorities & regulatory bodies to deliver a high-quality service & promote a positive culture Meet quality targets to ensure the service is providing the best support & care possible. A talented leader with strong line management & communication skills Experienced within a mental health setting & a multidisciplinary team An effective people, time & task manager with a proven track record of working with varied stakeholders in the delivery of outstanding care.
