Crynodeb
We are seeking a kind, reliable Personal Assistant to support 12-year-old Nicholas at home during term time and school holidays.
The role is for 3 hours per week during term time, ideally in one block during the week. During school holidays, the hours increase to 6 hours per week, which can be worked as two 3-hour sessions over two days.
Initially, support will take place at home, as building trust and familiarity is important. Once a relationship is established, the role may develop further.
Support will include:
• Providing general supervision and reassurance
• Supporting with toileting needs, including supervision with wiping and hand washing
• Encouraging calm, appropriate activities within the home
We are looking for someone who is:
• Patient, understanding and trustworthy
• Comfortable supporting with personal care tasks
• Able to build a positive and consistent relationship
Previous experience is helpful but not essential — a caring attitude and reliability are key. Please contact us if you feel this is a good role for you.
