Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Humly is recruiting an Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a primary school on a maternity cover basis.

This is a full-time role starting after Easter and continuing until the end of the summer term. The position is suitable for ECTs through to MPS6, offering an excellent opportunity to gain or continue experience within Key Stage 2 while providing consistency for pupils.

What You’ll Be Doing

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Upper Key Stage 2

Assess and monitor pupil progress to inform teaching

Support pupils’ social and emotional development

Manage classroom behaviour effectively

Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive learning environment

What You’ll Bring

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 or relevant year groups

Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment procedures

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual pupil needs

Pay

£120 – £232.57 per day

Enhanced DBS required (Humly can support if needed)
