We are seeking an inspirational, nurturing and passionate Nursery Class Teacher to join our special team. This is a wonderful opportunity to inspire young learners, nurture their curiosity, and make a lasting impact during the first stages of their education.

Your Opportunity

Treleigh Community Primary School is looking to recruit a Nursery Class Teacher on a part-time basis (0.6 FTE). The successful candidate will provide high-quality early years education, ensuring our children are supported, engaged, and inspired in their learning.

You will deliver a strong curriculum that reflects our commitment to giving 'Every Child. Every Day. Every Chance' and create a healthy, inclusive learning environment for all children within the nursery setting.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a teacher who will:

• Have very high expectations of achievement and behaviour, with the energy, enthusiasm, drive and determination to raise standards
• Be committed to modelling Treleigh’s values to Thrive, instil Respect, and Empower all learners for the next stage of their education journey
• Demonstrate a proven ability to manage pupils positively and create a calm, language-rich learning environment
• Teach to a high standard, with a secure understanding of assessment requirements within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Show exceptional organisational skills and the ability to adapt our exciting curriculum to meet the needs of children aged 2–4 years
