What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a practising Catholic leader who will:
• Have a clear vision of and commitment to Catholic Education and an understanding of our role in the wider community
• Inspire, support and promote excellence in partnership with our children, staff, parents, governors, Trust and parishes
• Ensure high expectations of pupil attainment and behaviour at all times, maintaining a caring culture focused on the individual needs of each child
• Demonstrate excellent understanding of teaching and learning strategies to ensure that each child is enabled to thrive
• Demonstrate excellent communication, team-working and wider interpersonal skills
• Work with the school community and Trust to evaluate all areas of school’s provision and be able to prioritise areas for school improvement to develop and deliver a challenging and innovative strategic plan
• Celebrate success and support staff, students, governors and pupils to work through challenges they face
• Have a clear understanding of the constraints and opportunities afforded by the school’s budget and the necessity to remain within it
