Teaching Assistant | Transforming Lives in Horley Schools

"A Teaching Assistant doesn't just assist; they inspire, mentor, and nurture the potential of every student."

Are you ready to be more than just a presence in the classroom? We are looking for individuals who believe that every child deserves a champion.

Randstad Education is partnering with a network of inclusive, vibrant primary schools across Horley that are eager to welcome proactive Teaching Assistants into their communities. Whether you are an experienced educator or coming from a background in childcare or support work, these schools provide the perfect environment for you to grow while making a tangible impact.

Why Join Our Horley Network?
  • Investment in You: Access premium CPD, e-learning modules, and on-the-job training designed to sharpen your skills.

  • Earn & Refer: Competitive pay scales plus a £300 Love2Shop referral bonus for every colleague you introduce to us (T&Cs apply).

  • Expert Guidance: Work alongside a specialist Randstad consultant and dedicated school leadership teams who are committed to your career progression.

  • Diverse Experience: Gain exposure across various year groups (EYFS to KS2) to find where your passion truly lies.

Your Impact in the Classroom

In this full-time, term-time role, you will be the bridge between a student's challenge and their breakthrough. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Targeted Support: Leading small group interventions or providing 1:1 assistance to boost academic confidence.

  • Holistic Care: Prioritising student well-being and assisting with personal care needs where required.

  • Behaviour Leadership: Cultivating a safe, positive, and focused learning atmosphere.

  • Progress Tracking: Monitoring student development and sharing insights with teachers and parents to ensure a joined-up approach.

What We Are Looking For
  • Experience: A background working with children (schools, nurseries, or community support).

  • Core Skills: GCSE Grade C (or 4/5) in English and Maths (or equivalent).

  • Mindset: A proactive, "can-do" attitude and a genuine love for helping children succeed.

  • Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to obtain one) and valid Right to Work in the UK.

Ready to Shape the Future?

If you are passionate about child development and ready for a role that offers genuine meaning, we want to hear from you.

Apply today to start your journey in a Horley school where your contribution will be truly valued.
