What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
  • Confidence leading a room and supporting other practitioners.
  • Previous Room Leader experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your nursery room, creating a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support development and curiosity.
  • Support, guide, and inspire practitioners within your room.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers through clear communication.
  • Ensure safeguarding, welfare, and EYFS standards are consistently met.
