Job Summary The Chelsea Practice is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive clinical team. The post holder will provide high-quality, patient-centred general medical services to our registered population, working collaboratively with the wider practice team to maintain excellent clinical standards, patient experience and practice performance. Clinical Responsibilities Provide safe, effective and evidence-based primary medical care to registered patients Undertake face-to-face, telephone and online consultations as appropriate Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in line with best practice and NICE guidance Conduct routine and urgent appointments within agreed practice sessions Undertake home visits where clinically appropriate, with support from community services Review and action clinical correspondence, investigation results, discharge summaries and OOH reports Prescribe safely and cost-effectively in accordance with practice and local prescribing policies Make timely and appropriate referrals to secondary and community care services Ensure accurate, contemporaneous clinical record keeping and coding using SystmOne Administrative & Professional Duties Complete associated clinical administration arising from consultations (results, referrals, reports, follow-up) Participate in practice systems for workflow, tasks and document management Contribute to QOF, enhanced services and other contractual obligations as required Support safe and efficient practice processes, including liaison with the reception and administrative teams Maintain up-to-date mandatory training, appraisal and revalidation requirements Practice & Team Responsibilities Work collaboratively with GP partners, salaried GPs, practice nurse, administrative and reception teams Participate in practice meetings, clinical governance, audit and quality improvement activities Contribute positively to the supportive and professional culture of the practice Comply with all practice policies, protocols and information governance requirements Teaching, Learning & Development Engage in ongoing professional development Attend and contribute to educational and practice learning events Support a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice Person Specification Essential GMC registered GP with a licence to practise Previous experience in UK general practice Included on the NHS England GP Performers List Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care Strong clinical, communication and organisational skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Competent IT skills, including use of clinical systems (Systmone desirable) Desirable Interest in quality improvement, QOF or service development Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic approach to general practice What We Offer Friendly, supportive and well-established practice team No out-of-hours commitment 6,500 patient list size 6 weeks annual leave pro rata + 1 week study leave pro rata Purpose-built, single-site premises within a health centre Paper-light practice using Systmone Salary negotiable, dependent on experience Flexible start date to appoint the right candidate
