We are looking for an Events Officer to join our University Student Recruitment Events Team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast paced environment and working with a wide range of stakeholders.
About the role
Under the direction of the Student Recruitment Events Team Leader and as a member of the team, the role holder contributes to the delivery of a customer focussed, cost effective and efficient student recruitment events service.
The Student Recruitment Events Team are responsible for the planning and the operational delivery of high-profile student recruitment and conversion events on the Plymouth campus, such as Open Days, Postgraduate Open Evenings and Offer Holder Days.
For this role, you will need to be on site 3 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.
Due to the nature of this role, an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check plus a Children’s Barred List and Adults Barred List check will be required.

• Coordinate calendars, paperwork and logistical arrangements
• Provide high-quality customer service at all times
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students, applicants, colleagues, partners and stakeholders
• Respond promptly to enquiries and changes, using your initiative and a proactive approach
