Crynodeb
To provide management support and assist in the development and delivery of a professional customer focused Hard & Soft Facilities Service with the Homerton University Hospital Foundation Trust, including community sites, to meet the organisational objectives and requirements of the customers, staff, patients, and visitors.
To lead on specific aspects of day-to-day facilities services to include Cleaning Services, Catering Services, Security, Waste services, NEPT etc., undertake minor projects within agreed financial framework, drive quality and performance standards through auditing to provide a customer focused, cost effective and efficient Facilities Service.
Monitor all Soft FM service contracts to ensure operational SLAs are delivered in line with the contracted specification. Services included (but not limited to):
• Domestic Cleaning Service
• Catering Service
• Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service
• Linen Service
• Household and Clinical Waste
• Portering Services
• Helpdesk Services
• Security
• Accommodation
Monitor the contractors to ensure successful delivery and Value for Money.
Assist and develop in the organisation and continuous monitoring of patient-led assessments of the care environment (PLACE).
Monitor and assist in the review of SLAs in line with the Trust contractual, financial and operation objectives.
Make staff aware of their responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act, Food Safety Act, and COSHH regulations.
Ensure that costs for ad-hoc variation rechargeable services provided are collated and produced in line with Trusts Standing financial instructions policy.
