Are you a recent psychology graduate looking to pursue a career in education? We are currently working with a large SEN provision to recruit for recent psychology graduates to join as a Learning Support Assistant.
Psychology Graduate - The Role:
As a psychology graduate TA, you will...
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, building strong relationships
- Regularly communicate with other staff members and the SLT team to monitor development
- Assist the teacher in lesson delivery and resource preparation
Psychology Graduate TA - What we are looking for:
- A recent degree in Psychology
- Previous experience supporting SEN within a school or care setting is highly desired
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Team Teach training is highly desired
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
