Job Introduction:
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and being the friendly face that sets the tone for a positive experience? As a Receptionist at HMRC Manchester, Three New Bailey, Salford. You'll be at the heart of our operation ensuring smooth communication, creating a welcoming environment, and always putting the safety and satisfaction of our customers first. Our admin team plays a crucial role in running a seamless, efficient service for all our clients and visitors.
What you’ll do:
Deliver a professional front-of-house and reception service as the first point of contact
Carry out general receptionist, administrative, and facilities support tasks
Manage room and conference bookings, including set-up and AV support
Issue keys and coordinate porterage using internal radio systems
Maintain meeting rooms, café and refreshment areas, and specific cleaning areas
Report maintenance issues, hazards, and safety concerns promptly
Follow all Health & Safety, security, and site procedures at all times
Support colleagues across the site, including café and porterage duties
Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, escalating when required
Maintain high standards of personal presentation, hygiene, and PPE use
Be flexible to cover additional hours when needed

Ability to identify required standards and complete tasks accordingly
Team player with the ability to support colleagues to achieve shared goals
Willingness to follow quality procedures and site-specific guidelines

Ability to work independently using own initiative
Previous experience in front-of-house, reception, facilities, or customer-facing roles
