Teaching Assistant – Day-to-day supply across Hoddesdon and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be supporting pupils across a range of year groups and abilities, helping to create inclusive and engaging learning environments.Duties as Teaching Assistant:

• Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
• Provide one-to-one and small group support as required
• Help manage behaviour and promote positive social interactions
• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Relevant experience supporting children in school settings
• Understanding of the national curriculum and classroom routines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly across different schools and age groups
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• A positive, proactive, and patient approach to supporting pupils
