Summary

SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working across a range of primary schools in Cheshunt and nearby areas, supporting pupils with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis.Duties as SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant:

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support for pupils with SEND
• Assist with personalised learning plans and interventions
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to monitor progress
• Help manage classroom routines and transitions
• Uphold safeguarding and school policies consistently

Ideal SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children with SEND in UK primary schools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a SEND 121 Teaching Assistant
• Ability to adapt to different pupil needs and school environments
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• HLTA qualification or relevant training is desirable
• Passionate about inclusive education and pupil development
