The Role
We are recruiting to the role of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Counselling & Psychotherapy to join our collegiate and expanding team. This is an exciting time to be part of the School, as we are growing our portfolio, strengthening our research profile in Mental health, Wellbeing, Neuroscience and Cognitive Neuroscience, , and Digital Health, playing a central role in helping the University deliver on its ambitious strategic priorities over the next five years.
Key responsibilities will include contribution across our suite of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, specialising in Counselling & Psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. The post holder will offer research and clinical supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students and will have the opportunity to engage in knowledge transfer and research. .
The successful candidate will have skills and qualifications in counselling ,and/or psychotherapy, with specialist experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. They will have experience of teaching in Higher Education, supporting students and trainees to develop as competent graduates or practitioners.
