Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of health and safety standards across the organization.
Foster engagement among employees regarding health and safety initiatives through training and awareness programs.
Conduct regular health and safety audits and assessments to identify risks and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with department heads to create tailored health and safety strategies that align with organizational goals.
Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to health and safety standards.
Develop and disseminate health and safety communication materials to ensure clarity and understanding across all levels of the organization.
Act as a key point of contact for health and safety issues and provide expert advice and support to employees and management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety leadership roles, preferably in a similar industry.
Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable.
Proven track record of developing, implementing, and managing health and safety programs.
Strong understanding of current legislation and best practices in health and safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, conduct risk assessments, and develop actionable plans.
Hours Per Week: 36.00

End Time: 17:00
