MIDDAY ASSISTANT - To start as soon as possible
Band 1, point 3 - £24,796 per annum pro-rata (Actual £4299 per annum)
Hours: 7.5 hours per week, Term-Time only
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Midday Assistant to supervise pupils during lunchtime in the dining hall and playground, supporting positive behaviour, safety, and inclusion. You will need to be flexible in your approach and show a caring attitude to all our children. You will be responsible for all the usual lunchtime duties (see below), be able to support children calmly with any challenges which may arise, helping the children to develop socially and emotionally by working with the lunchtime team to create the best lunchtime provision possible for all of our children.
As a Midday Assistant at Flixton Primary School, you will:
Ensure pupils’ wellbeing and safety by supporting children on the playground, in the dining room or in classrooms in wet weather;
Promote positive behaviour and social interaction through your respectful and calm manner;
Work as part of a supportive team;
Assist with the provision of first aid when required (training will be provided).
