Crynodeb
- Manage an international education project, taking responsibility for successful completion of deliverables by sub-contractors as well as Roehampton University on time and on budget
- Work closely with the Project Sponsor, Sub-project team and key stakeholders
- Provide support, and deputise for the Senior Project Manager, where appropriate.
- Line management of and develop direct reports
- Actively participate in all phases of a project, including scoping and design, identifying and securing resources, ethics, resolving issues, managing risk and reporting progress
- Use the University’s Project Governance Framework as an underpinning approach to project management
- Effectively estimate timescales, resources, ethics and budget requirements for the successful delivery of projects
- Ensure that realistic project plans are prepared and maintained, and tracks all activities against the plan, providing regular status reports
- Monitor timescales, resources and budget taking appropriate action where required
- Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders
- Ensure that projects are formally brought to a close and reviewed and that lessons learned are captured and actioned
- To undertake any other requirements commensurate with the seniority of the post/as required by the head of department.
Responsibilities and duties may be subject to amendment over time as the role develops and/or priorities and requirements evolve. You will be part of the Planning and Strategic Projects Directorate and a member of the Strategic Projects team, working with a wide range of colleagues across the University.
