Essential Requirements We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and team spirit: HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist. MSc (or equivalent) relevant to Blood Transfusion. IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Haematology/Transfusion or Transfusion Science. Significant experience working as a Senior Biomedical Scientist in Transfusion. Comprehensive knowledge of transfusion techniques and practice. Knowledge and application of MHRA and UKAS / ISO 15189 standards. Experience of supervising staff , supporting training and competency assessment. Experience of quality management activities, including audit and incident investigation. Ability to communicate clearly with laboratory and clinical staff. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities safely.
