Crynodeb
This position sits within Medicine but will work closely with cancer services MDT Coordinators to understand patient pathways and support patients to engage with appointments and investigations whilst working with clinical and administrative colleagues to identify and address potential pathway issues and improve patient experience. Coordinate patient pathways, NHS and private care, with high functioning planning and organisational skills. To track and expedite patient pathways to ensure cancer waiting times standards are met, addressing causes of potential breaches and escalating concerns as appropriate. Responsible for administrative tasks involved in managing lung cancer pathways. Responsible for day to day management, organisation and delegation of relevant tasks and roles to others as appropriate, and as part of pathway management. Responsible for data management relating to international web based robotic database and in house database. Responsible for liaising diplomatically with different departments to influence and improve patient pathways and patient experience.
