The Event Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for all events operations services. These would include weddings, conferences, bars, social and core University events. Working alongside the Senior Event Operations Manager and Event Operations Head Chef to ensure the service standards at the University is of the highest quality. This post involves a ‘hands on’ approach, and should support, train and coach all Event Operations service team towards providing the highest quality service.
The RH will be responsible for
Assisting the Senior Event Operations Manager to plan and manage all events
Assisting the Event Operations Head Chef to ensure effective purchasing of food and beverages
Actively checking that the highest standards of customer care and satisfaction, standard of food quality and service levels are met, exceeding expectations
Ensuring compliance with and the implementation of food hygiene and safety legislation
Managing the team involved in event operations
Respond efficiently and effectively to any guest requirements
In addition, RH will be expected as part of their normal routine to be actively present managing the event operations and being available for the team and guests.
