Home Manager (RGN) – £60,000 + Bonus



This nursing home provides care for older adults, including those living with dementia, and is currently operating at a good standard with a Good CQC rating. The next manager will build on what’s already working, bringing steady, hands-on leadership while working closely with a senior management team that offers guidance and support. This suits a confident nurse leader who values teamwork, is open to input, and can build strong working relationships and maintain high care standards.



Before You Apply



  • This role requires recent experience managing a nursing home

  • Applicants must be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN.

  • This position is not suitable for candidates without hands-on leadership and CQC compliance experience.

  • Salary: £60,000 per annum

What You’ll Need



  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with a valid NMC PIN

  • Proven experience in a care home management role

  • Strong working knowledge of CQC requirements and inspection processes

  • Experience in elderly care, including dementia care

  • Confidence making operational, staffing, and clinical decisions



  • History of good or outstanding CQC outcomes



What You’ll Do



  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the care home

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements

  • Lead, manage, and develop nursing and care staff, including rotas and supervision

  • Maintain high standards of person-centred care for elderly and dementia residents

  • Work directly on the floor during a weekly Friday morning clinical shift

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with families, professionals, and inspectors
