THIS IS A FIXED TERM POST UNTIL CHRISTMAS 2026 WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF PERMANENT EMPLOYMENTThe Orchard Infant School is seeking a caring, organised and enthusiastic After School Club Manager to lead our After School Club provision.
This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys working with young children and can provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment at the end of the school day.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day running of the After School Club
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Ensure the safety, wellbeing and positive behaviour of all children
• Lead and supervise After School Club staff
• Maintain accurate registers and records
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers and school staff
• Ensure compliance with school policies, including safeguarding and health & safety
The Successful Candidate Will
• Have experience working with children, ideally in a school or childcare setting
• Be confident, reliable and well organised
• Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Hold a relevant childcare qualification (or be willing to work towards one)
