Job Description:
Futuristic Technologies Ltd is seeking an experienced Lead Technical Business Analyst with strong Agile expertise to support data and digital initiatives and business transformation programs. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, consulting teams, and technical teams to translate business needs into detailed technical solutions while driving process improvements across the organization.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in BIG Data migration, digital transformation, financial services, and enterprise systems, and is comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
• Facilitate product workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders, architects, and developers to elicit requirements and review proposed solutions.
• Capture, analyze, and document detailed business requirements within an Agile framework, including Epics, User Stories, UX designs, API interface designs, and Data Dictionaries, ensuring alignment with business value, risk, and dependencies.
• Provide subject-matter expertise across key financial domains, including core payments, cards, asset finance, digital journeys, and regulatory compliance.
• Support enterprise reporting platform migration from legacy systems to modern big data lake architectures.
• Conduct complex business impact assessments across multiple business streams to evaluate and communicate the impact of change.
• Develop AS-IS and TO-BE process maps, including attribute mapping for reporting and data transformation.
• Review technical solution designs to ensure traceability and alignment with business goals and requirements.
• Support build, testing, and validation activities to ensure solutions meet business needs, regulatory obligations, and data integrity standards.
• Contribute to project delivery activities including UAT coordination, training, stakeholder communications, and go-live support.
• Identify, document, and communicate technical constraints, risks, and dependencies to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in reporting processes and operational efficiency.
• Lead and promote Agile best practices within the Business Analysis function.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 12+ years of Business Analyst experience, with at least 6+ years in a Lead BA capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of payment processes, digital channels, and data integration principles, with experience supporting enterprise-scale digital and data transformation programs.
• Experience working with regulatory and compliance requirements impacting banking technology (e.g., Open Banking, FCA, PSD2, BBB, and data privacy regulations).
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery frameworks, including ceremonies and backlog management, using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and process modelling tools (Visio, BPMN, Lucidchart).
• Solid understanding of data schemas, RESTful APIs, and system integrations.
• Experience using Python for data analysis and profiling, supporting initiatives involving data ingestion, transformation, analytics, and AI-enabled use cases.
• Ability to define requirements through data analysis, including identifying data sources, performing data quality assessments, and documenting data lineage and governance.
• Experience in gap analysis, UAT management, and process improvement.
• Strong data analysis skills across big data platforms such as Apache Spark, Snowflake, and SQL, MongoDB along with data visualization tools like Qlik Sense and Tableau.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, testers, UX designers, DevOps, live services, and technical architects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting product roadmap management, prioritization, and backlog refinement, working closely with Product Owners, developers, architects, and QA engineers.
• Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills & Certifications:
• Familiarity with ALFA and Salesforce products within commercial platforms.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and AI tools.
• Formal Business Analysis training or certification.
• Strong commercial awareness with sound decision-making capability.
