A well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in Peterborough is seeking a confident and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly, supportive, and highly collaborative team. This role would suit a vet who enjoys a varied caseload, including both medical and surgical cases, with the opportunity for occasional sole charge within a well-supported environment.
The Practice
This welcoming practice is known for its positive team culture, open communication, and genuine support. The clinical team consists of 11 Veterinary Surgeons, backed by an experienced and proactive Nursing and Reception team, ensuring vets can focus on delivering excellent patient care.
Daily case discussions and shared decision-making are actively encouraged, and clinicians benefit from regular exposure to visiting specialists in orthopaedics, cardiology, and ophthalmology. Several vets within the team also hold special interests in advanced surgery and ophthalmology, making this an excellent environment for learning, mentoring, and professional development.
Beyond clinical work, the practice is heavily involved in the local community, regularly hosting charity events, open days, and educational initiatives. New ideas are always welcomed, and team members are encouraged to help shape the future of the practice.
The Role
• Small animal Veterinary Surgeon position
• Mixture of consultations and surgery

Rota & Working Hours
• Full-time or part-time considered
• Flexible working patterns available
• 1:4 Saturday mornings
• No out-of-hours or on-call work
