We are recruiting for a Outpatients Divisional Coordinator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
Are you looking for a dynamic and fast-paced role where you can make a meaningful impact? We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Outpatient Appointment Centre as an Outpatient Divisional Coordinator.
This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to contribute directly to patient care by ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of outpatient services.
As an Outpatients Divisional Coordinator you will play a vital role in coordinating and managing the delivery of outpatient services across multiple specialties, ensuring a smooth patient journey and compliance with national access targets (e.g., RTT, cancer pathways).
The post holder will work closely with Trust wide coordinators, clinical teams, administrative staff, and external stakeholders to ensure that outpatient clinics are managed efficiently, capacity is used effectively, and patient experience is of the highest standard.
The Main Base for this role will be-Lister Hospital - Full-time Monday - Friday (consideration will be given to applicants with sufficient experience who can work 5 days per week - minimum 25 hours).

Coordinate outpatient clinic schedules in liaison with service coordinators, clinical teams and outpatient appointment centre staff.
Monitor outpatient clinic capacity, requesting adjustments where necessary to meet demand.
Have direct line management and supervisory responsibility of the Outpatient Pathway Supervisors.
Coordination of an efficient outpatient support service to all aspects of the Outpatients service.
Working with colleagues in the Patient Access Team and within the divisions, responsible for ensuring that the Outpatient Appointment Centre delivers a service to divisions that meets RTT and other KPIs.
Identify areas of inefficiency or risk and escalate to the relevant individuals as appropriate.
Ensure that all patients are booked in a timely manner in accordance with clinical urgency and policy guidelines.
