Crynodeb
National Express have an exciting new role reporting to the Engineering Manager at Acocks Green Garage.
As a Workshop Planner you will be responsible for ensuring labour resources are utilised fully by matching the demand to the available work hours.
Location: Acocks Green Garage
Schedule: Monday to Friday Days
You will be responsible for ensuring that the parts and tooling are available to execute planned work.
The ideal candidate will be a self motivator, able to work collaboratively, focus on detail and performance.
What you’ll do…
- Plan all maintenance activities to maximise the use of labour, tooling and workshop resources.
- To create standardised job plans in the Asset Management System including authorised amendments to plans in the system.
- Verify all planning in the system and ensure work orders are generated and allocated appropriately, ensuring no vehicles run in service without a valid VI, MOT, TAX or overdue VEM.
- Work collaboratively with Team Leaders,to ensure that all labour resources are fully utilised, maximising their skillset.
- Plan workshop activities to allow for the release of personnel for required training and development, managing holiday requests for the depot and ensure that adequate labour resources are available at all times.
- To nurture a respectful and inclusive environment.
- To proactively support and cover for the SCO where workload dictates.
