Bank Staff Nursery Practitioner
Contract:
Flexible, bank staff position during school term time with a minimum of 3 hours per week. Hours will vary depending on nursery staffing needs, including staff sickness, holidays, and increased demand.
There may also be opportunities to work additional hours during school holidays within our holiday club, although these hours are not guaranteed and will be arranged as needed.
Salary:
Dependent on experience and qualifications
We are a warm, community-run, non-profit preschool and are currently seeking a reliable and flexible Nursery Practitioner to join our team as bank staff.
Key Requirements:
Childcare qualification (preferred) or relevant nursery experience
Experience working in a nursery setting (preferred)
A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Paediatric First Aid qualification (preferred)
The ideal candidate will:
Be caring, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s development
Have a basic understanding of the EYFS framework
Be flexible and reliable, with the ability to work varying hours
Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
Be committed to maintaining a safe, nurturing environment
