RABI is the farmers charity.

RABI supports farming people across England, Wales and NI with expert, one-to-one practical, financial and emotional help, all
year round. From confidential advice and mental health support to direct financial assistance, their tailored services respond to
the unique challenges of farming life.

At the heart of RABI’s mission is a commitment to strengthening resilience; helping farming people feel valued, supported and
better equipped to navigate uncertainty and change. RABI is working to close the farming wellbeing gap and build a future where
farming people can thrive.

Over the past 25 years alone, RABI has delivered almost £250 Million in direct financial support to the farming community, whilst
the charity’s professional counselling service has provided 11,500 free sessions to farming people since 2022. RABI’s wrap-around
support services continue to evolve, reaching more people year on year.

RABI is on a journey to help shape a future farmers deserve.

This is an especially exciting time to join RABI as we deliver our newly launched 2025–2030 strategy, strengthening resilience
across financial, physical and mental wellbeing. This direction provides the perfect opportunity to explore new creative
approaches that inspire and engage the farming community.

You’ll work closely with colleagues and farming people to build content that reflects their experiences and create campaigns that
truly matter. From mental health support to celebrating rural life, you’ll help share the stories that need to be heard.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a creative Digital Communications Coordinator to expand RABI’s reach and raise awareness of our support within
the farming community. You’ll plan, create and optimise digital content, manage our social media channels, support website updates
and play a key role in nurturing a strong, supportive online community. This role also calls for creative insight to help develop
consistent, engaging digital storytelling across RABI’s channels.

By shaping our digital presence, you’ll help us connect with those who need us most. No farming experience is necessary, what
matters is your passion for digital communications, your creativity and your willingness to collaborate with colleagues who bring
deep farming knowledge and experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Social media management:

* Plan, schedule and publish content across RABI’s social media channels, aligning with our tone of voice and campaign calendar.
* Maintain and update the social media calendar for key events, seasonal moments and sector milestones.
* Create, optimise and adapt content to suit platform trends and audience needs.
* Provide warm, timely community management, including responding to comments, private messages and online enquiries.
* Support campaign launches and key organisational projects (such as the FarmersAid app or grant campaigns) through coordinated
social activity, tailored messaging and engaging content formats.
* Use sound judgement in moderating conversations, signposting individuals to appropriate support when needed.
* Build strong online communities by gathering, curating and using user-generated content to tell authentic stories.
* Monitor and evaluate performance using tools such as Meta Business Suite, producing actionable insights to guide future
activity.

Digital content creation:

* Support the Digital Communications Manager in creating engaging content for planned and reactive campaigns.
* Assist with updating and maintaining the charity’s website via WordPress, ensuring content is accurate, accessible and aligned
with current messaging.
* Create and maintain digital materials such as landing pages, email templates and campaign resources.
* Produce high-quality short-form video, graphics and digital assets using tools such as Canva and CapCut.
* Develop digital resources and toolkits for partners, MPs and key stakeholders to help extend the reach of RABI’s campaigns.
* Adapt and creatively repurpose supplied assets (e.g., photos, videos, footage or campaign materials) into engaging,
platform-ready content that supports campaign goals and storytelling priorities
* Capture and curate photography and video, including filming at events, farm visits and community activities.
* Grow and maintain RABI’s image and video library, ensuring assets are well-organised, up to date and reflective of farming
life.
* Use creative judgement to shape content narratives, ensuring assets feel authentic, impactful and aligned with RABI’s tone and
values.
* Stay informed of digital, design and social trends to help RABI remain fresh, relevant and innovative.

Outreach and Community Engagement:

* Build collaborative relationships with internal colleagues, especially those with farming backgrounds, to identify compelling
digital storytelling opportunities.
* Conduct proactive outreach to influencers, bloggers, podcasters and journalists whose platforms can help amplify RABI’s work.
* Support the coordination of creator collaborations, including identifying partners, managing communication and ensuring
alignment with campaign goals.
* Monitor emerging digital opportunities, platforms and conversations that could benefit RABI’s visibility and engagement.
* Attend events, community activities or local initiatives to capture content and strengthen relationships with farming people.
* Support outreach and visibility opportunities related to the launch and promotion of RABI’s financial grant campaigns, support
services and FarmersAid mobile app.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
