Participate as a member of the nursing team in delivery, monitoring and evaluating individual evidence based care/treatment plans, health promotion initiatives, risk issues, and collaborate with other disciplines as required. Maintaining patient/client confidentiality. To Lead and co-facilitate therapeutic and ward based groups and activities supported by Senior Nurse / Nurse in Charge / Lead Facilitators. To see patients for individualised support sessions linked to therapeutic programmes. To develop the formulation of care plans related to the psychological treatment of a patients clinical needs. Write assessment and therapeutic reports. Administer and provide outline interpretation of psychometric assessments used in evaluating treatment.Contribute to risk assessment formulation, including involvement in developing formal risk assessments (HCR20s RSVPs etc). Provide training to colleagues re treatment programme delivery. To attend and contribute to appropriate multi-disciplinary meetings. Assist in maintaining general and specific patient observations under the supervision of registered nursing staff. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information at all times.Receive supervision from named nursing supervisor and also psychiatric, OT and psychology colleagues..Always act in a manner as to promote and safeguard the interests and well being of patients. Actively promote a responsible caring attitude at all times, treating all patients with dignity and respect including awareness and understanding of issues surrounding equality and diversity. Be involved in the induction support and supervision of Healthcare Support Workers. On occasion, contribute to overall care and treatment on the ward as directed by nurse in charge.
