About the Role
Are you experienced in working with children and families with particular skills and experience in delivering parenting programmes. We are looking for an outstanding practitioner to fill the role of Family Support Worker and it will specifically be delivering group work interventions both online and in person. You will be delivering evidenced based interventions that support everyday parenting challenges for.
This full-time role will be fixed term until March 31st 2029.
An enhanced with barred list DBS check is required for this post.

About You
To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence the following:
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, e.g. social care, health or childcare, OR substantial experience in providing direct support to families that clearly demonstrates the experience, skills, competencies and knowledge
- To plan and deliver a variety of evidence-based targeted group work to parents with children aged 0-19
- To evidence the achievement of outcomes through robust data recording on group work interventions
- To be proficient at leading the delivery of programmes from a range of venues across the county and online
- To have extensive knowledge of Triple P or be able to demonstrate experience of delivering similar evidence-based interventions.
- To be able to identify emerging needs and utilise your multi agency skills to help families find the right help
- To undertake practice development sessions to ensure latest information and guidance from evidence-based providers is followed as appropriate to ensure services are delivered in accordance with the needs of all families who engage in our group work programme, ensuring equity and accessibility.
You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion.
