Crynodeb
The job holder will be required to carry out the following responsibilities, activities and duties:
Improving and implementing effective operational processes between NPS and its partners
· Manage the analysis and planning opportunities to improve, and make more effective the operational processes, and relationships, between the NPS and CRC
· Manage the analysis and planning opportunities to improve, and make more effective the operational processes, and relationships, between wider partnership groups of the NPS – for example the CPS, Police, Courts and Prisons
· Drive the identification of critical touch-points in the operational processes between the NPS and CRCs, and between the NPS and wider partnership groups
Planning and implementing associated change management
· Plan and design the change required to make operational processes between delivery partners as effective as possible
· Create a climate of confidence in change management
· Support the Deputy Directors in building effective working relationships with CRC colleagues
· Support the Deputy Directors in building effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders from the wider partnership group
· Build effective working relationships with co-commissioning groups to maximise the potential investment in services for offenders
· Develop a culture of continuous improvement
· Coordinate operational input to HQ projects to improve the interfaces between the two organisations and between the NPS and other partnership groups (e.g. CPS etc)
· Review local change programmes and prioritise change initiatives, to ensure inter-organisational effectiveness
· Monitor the impact of changes to processes which impact on the interface between NPS and CRCs
· Coordinate NPS input to the competition process and post share sale mobilisation activity
Determine the effective use of resources
Agree budgets and unit costs for programmes of work
Make proposals for expenditure on programmes of work
Manage budgets and provide unit costings for activities
Advise on financial and resourcing issues to inform objectives and forward planning

Develop a culture and systems that promote equality and value diversity
Implement the diversity policies of the service and collaborate effectively with the Equalities and Diversity Unit
