Upper Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant
Humly is recruiting an Upper Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school on a long-term basis in Carlsile.
This is a full-time role starting at the beginning of the summer term and continuing until the end of the academic year. The role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting pupils in Upper KS2, both in class and through targeted intervention, and who can contribute positively to a structured and engaging learning environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting teaching and learning across Upper Key Stage 2
Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives
Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils’ emotional and social development
Providing tailored support to meet a range of learning needs
Supervising pupils during structured activities and transitions
What You’ll Bring
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in Upper Key Stage 2
Confidence supporting pupils with varying academic abilities
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A proactive and adaptable approach to classroom support
A good understanding of the primary curriculum
A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Pay
£13.70 per hour
