Are you dependable, adaptable, and passionate about making a positive difference in a school community? Alder Tree Primary School is seeking a General Support Assistant to play a vital role in the smooth and successful daily running of our academy.
About the Role
In this varied and rewarding position, you will provide flexible support across the school to ensure a welcoming, well‑organised and effective learning environment for all. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing classroom assistance to teachers and pupils
• Supporting with administrative and reception tasks
• Assisting on school trips and events
• Operating the school minibus
• Offering general support wherever it is needed most
Every day will bring something different. You will adapt quickly to changing priorities, respond to staffing and operational needs, and play a key part in ensuring that pupils, staff, and visitors feel supported and valued.
