Main Responsibilities: Operational Leadership Provide operational management for the CYP ADHD (South & West) community service, ensuring effective delivery of diagnostic and treatment pathways. Line manage Non-Medical Prescribers and Band 7 Assessors, ensuring governance and operational optimization for safe, quality care. Assist the Service Manager in service allocation, deployment, prioritization, and delivery, implementing and reviewing systems, policies, standards, and procedures. Service Delivery & Improvement Support the implementation of care pathways and transformation agendas, ensuring cohesive and seamless services for service users. Embed models of recovery and develop new organizational arrangements, networks, and service solutions. Ensure the voice of service users and carers is represented in service planning and delivery. Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including NHS organizations, local authorities, voluntary organizations, and regulatory bodies. Manage service contracts efficiently, focusing on continuous improvement and rapid spread of best practice. Safe and Effective Services Accountable for the quality of care across a complex range of health services, liaising with clinicians, managers, and other providers. Monitor and manage team capacity, ensuring effective escalation arrangements to maintain safety. Oversee health promotion and prevention initiatives, working with other agencies. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., CQC, HSE) and implement assurance systems. Financial Management Accountable for financial planning, resource management, and performance management for services. Ensure effective budgetary and resource controls, devolving budgets as appropriate while maintaining oversight. Provide clinical and performance information to support service aims and objectives. Service Development Support development and implementation of policies and change programmes, including the Neurodiversity Pathway. Communicate CYPMHS strategy and service delivery to internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to estates management and development of the Trusts estate strategy. Staff Wellbeing & Development Promote and support staff health and wellbeing, directing employees to available services. Be open, approachable, and proactive in monitoring staff mental and physical health. Compliance & Governance Adhere to Trust policies, including anti-discriminatory practices, equality and diversity, confidentiality, and records management. Champion infection prevention and control, safeguarding adults and children, and uphold standards of business conduct. Communication Attend meetings and communicate effectively with internal and external partners, tailoring messages to diverse audiences.
