Brake Press Operator

Location: Monmouth

Salary: £27,378 - £30,420 per annum, dependent on experience.

Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 7am - 16.00pm Friday - 7am - 12 Noon

Vibe Recruit are currently working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in South Wales to recruit a Brake Press Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing production team, producing high-quality metal panel products.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake press machines to form and bend metal components

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and work orders

• Carry out quality checks to ensure all parts meet required specifications

• Adjust machine settings and tooling where necessary

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

• Undertake basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting

Person Specification

• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience operating a brake press or similar machinery is desirable

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
