Are you passionate about people and eager to start your career in HR? We’re looking for an enthusiastic HR Apprentice to support our Colleague Experience team in creating a workplace where everyone thrives.
You’ll help deliver initiatives that improve employee engagement, reward strategies, and benefits, ensuring our policies align with staff needs and organisational goals. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from HR specialists, and make a real impact on colleague experience. At the end of this you will have a L5 CIPD qualification as a People Profession which aligns with associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
Lead on the continuous improvement of DVSA’s employee benefits portfolio ensuring relevance, effectiveness and value for moneyPromote the benefits portfolio, identifying new ways to engage colleaguesAct as joint agency lead for pay and reward policies, ensuring consistency across the Department for Transport familyCollaborate with subject matter experts to design and implement HR solutions to improve colleague experienceProduce reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders, highlighting key findings and future actions to improve colleague experienceFor further information on the role, please read the role profile.
