part-time basis!

Location: Nottingham or Redhill based
Hours: Part time, 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Exact timings flexible.
Contract: 12 month FTC
Purpose: To oversee day to day operations of Shared Services and support the HR Shared Services Manager through driving
improvements and optimising service quality.
Your Duties Will Include:
* Be the first point of contact for the Shared Services team queries, escalating complex queries as appropriate
* Prepare and submit monthly and annual reports and payroll files.
* Support the HRSS Manager on continuous improvement processes
* Oversee the delivery of HR Shared Services Workpro cases.
* Ensure processes are followed consistently by the HR Shared Services team.
* Create and distribute all paperwork throughout the employee lifecycle
* Support the Shared Services Manager with the implementation and training of new processes and systems
* Liaise with Line Managers on hire progress for Work Level 3 employees, including equipment requests.
* Maintain and update all HR Information Services for Work Level 3 employees.
* Maintaining and updating employee e-files.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to arrange and coordinate inductions.
* Coordinate probation review reminders and where necessary escalating.
* Track employee processes and pass to payroll for processing (e.g. refer a friend, maternity)
* Maintaining and updating organisational charts.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
* Proven experience in a HR Shared Services environment.
* Previous experience in a supervisory/team leader role (desirable)
* Experience of handling sensitive and confidential information within legislative requirements.
* Experience of working in a fast paced, rapidly changing, commercial and challenging environment
* Experience using HR systems (UKG Ready, Workpro, ADP desired).
* Fully proficient at Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (Microsoft Office).
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively.
* Ability to manage, organise and co-ordinate a high volume of work, prioritise critical activities within tight timescales
whilst maintaining high quality and excellent attention to detail and accuracy of working.
