We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to join a 4-bed residential children’s home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Bradford.
This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to progress their career within residential childcare while maintaining a strong work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:-
Support the Registered Manager in the daily operation of the home

Lead and supervise staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care

Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, policies, and procedures

Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people

Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and staff development

Act as Manager in the Registered Manager’s absence
Requirements:-
Experience in a senior role within a residential children’s home (EBD experience preferred)

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards)

Strong leadership and communication skills

Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for young people

Flexibility to work a 2 on / 4 off rota, including sleep-ins
