As the organisation undergoes significant transformation, strong culture, leadership, and expert organisational development are essential to navigating change successfully. Formed in September 2025, our Organisational Development and Wellbeing team provides strategic support that strengthens our people, culture, and overall staff experience.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of a Trust wide Organisational Development and Wellbeing programme aligned to our strategic priorities. You will support the ongoing development and embedding of our vision, values and desired culture, helping ensure we continue to provide an exceptional experience for both patients and staff.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will help implement key OD initiatives—including facilitating team development sessions, delivering OD interventions linked to our Speak Up and Civility campaigns, and supporting engagement activities across the Trust. You will also play an important role in coordinating the NHS Staff Survey and wider staff engagement work, ensuring insight is used to shape positive cultural change.

The role is currently based at Basildon hospital with regular travel across our hospital sites.
