Crynodeb
Capita is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Functional Analyst (Order to Cash) to support the design and implementation of end to end O2C services for a strategic client transformation programme. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a large scale, multi phase mobilisation, focused on delivering standardised, user centred finance services that support accurate billing, effective cash collection and strong revenue control.
Reporting to the Capita Finance & Procurement Functional Lead, you will take a leading role in shaping Capita's Order to Cash service design, ensuring alignment between client requirements, Capita's standard solution capabilities, and the wider Finance operating model. You will work closely with Functional Analysts, Finance SMEs, Service Designers and Technology teams to define robust, scalable O2C processes that deliver a seamless experience for service recipients and end users.
What you'll be doing:
• Lead and support the design of end‑to‑end Order to Cash processes, including customer and account setup, billing and invoicing, cash receipts and cash application
• Contribute to the development of the Capita Service Blueprint and High‑Level Operating Model for Finance, ensuring O2C services are clearly defined, controlled and integrated with adjacent processes (e.g. P2P and Record to Report).
• Facilitate and contribute to client and SME workshops, capturing detailed functional requirements, business rules, exceptions and volumes specific to O2C services.
• Translate requirements into clear process designs, functional specifications, SOPs and service artefacts, suitable for testing, transition and live service operation.
• Work collaboratively with Service Design, Technology and Operations teams to ensure O2C processes align to Capita's standard ERP‑enabled solutions.
What we're looking for:
(Essential)
• Strong functional expertise in Order to Cash, with hands‑on experience designing, implementing or operating O2C services within shared services, BPO or large‑scale finance transformations.
• Solid understanding of billing, cash receipts, revenue assurance, debt management and financial controls, including audit and compliance considerations.
• Experience working within ERP‑enabled O2C environments (e.g. Oracle‑based solutions) and integrating O2C processes with wider Finance services.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality process documentation, SOPs and functional artefacts that support testing, training and operational readiness.
• Confident stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working directly with client finance SMEs, operations teams and cross‑functional delivery teams.
