What We’re Looking For
Great people skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Resilience to handle traumatic situations and communicate sensitively.
Decisiveness and the ability to use police powers appropriately.
Willingness to work shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Successful candidates must serve wherever required to do so within North Yorkshire, please consider travel distance prior to submitting your application.
Eligibility
Aged 17+ at application (18 by appointment).
Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (GCSE A-C or equivalent).
Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
Full, valid manual EU/UK driving licence (held for at least 6 months).
Ability to pass vetting, fitness, and medical standards.
