About the role:
As Food & Beverage Assistant, you will help manage the day-to-day operations of
one of our café/bar facilities across the Exeter Leisure Centres. You will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring the highest possible standards of customer service, food and drink presentation, hygiene, and cleanliness. You’ll also be focused on creating a safe and welcoming environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines, including licensing laws and food handling procedures.
The role will involve ensuring effective stock management, financial procedures. You’ll be expected to support the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and beverages when required, while also driving the promotion of the café/bar by introducing creative ideas to increase its usage and meet the objectives outlined in the business plan. Working closely with Centre Managers and Duty Managers, you will play a key role in enhancing the overall success of our leisure facilities.
